Red Bull Flugtag, Moscow

The 2013 Red Bull Flugtag is coming to Dallas everybody! For those of you going “the Flug-what?” let me explain. The Red Bull Flugtag (German for flight day or air show) is a competition held on the same day in several states each year. During the competition 30 teams of fearless amateur aviators test their self-built, human-powered flying machines by pushing them off a 30 foot high ramp over a body of water and seeing how far they go, all to the cheers and jeers of an on looking audience. Plus each team picks a theme for their machine with corresponding costumes and skits, all for the sake of being named the regional Flugtag champions. This is what will be going down (no pun intended) September 21st out on Lake Carolyn in Las Colinas, sounds pretty cool right?

Marina and the Diamonds and Icona Pop at Granada 12.9.12

Are you ready to dance? And when I say dance I mean getting down like there’s no tomorrow. If you answered yes then you need to check out Marina and the Diamonds and their opening act Icona Pop at the Granada December 19th. Both of the acts serve up hot and heavy electro pop with clever lyrics and a lot of bass that will make you move your body even if you thought you didn’t want to.
