We love Air Review. Probably because YouPlus, namely Justin Ransom and Jun Kang, made this music video for their song, America’s Son, and we’ve been listening to them on repeat since.
Check out Air Review along with Milo Greene, Brenna, Manzare, and Chambers at The Live Oak Music Hall & Lounge this Saturday, December 8 for the KXT 91.7 Holiday Concert Series.

I love a good music festival, especially when I don’t have travel out to the desert to see it (Coachella…) or a field in Tennessee (I’m lookin’ at you Bonnaroo). Index festival is happening right in the comfort of my own city and it looks awesome. Held at the very cool Trees in Deep Ellum, it’s two days of music including Cold War Kids, Grimes, Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr., Washed Out, Air Review, Portugal. The Man, and more.
The name “Index” is the combination of ‘indie’ and ‘next’. The festival showcases indie bands that you already have on rotation as well as up and coming indie acts. Come to see some of your favorite bands and leave with a whole new list of songs you’ve Shazam-ed.
See you there!

MAN, last night’s show at Club Dada REEKED of the Dallas Observer Music Awards nominees (better known as #DOMAXXIII on the Twittersphere). And when I say reeked, I mean the air was stained with the sweet sweet fragrance of a badass music community (that, and incense).
Air Review and the Burning Hotels packed Dada for the CD release of the Fort Worth Sex Wave band. In terms of DOMA nominees (and in general), this is how much awesome concertgoers were surrounded by last night:
Club Dada
Parade of Flesh (Talent Buyer – Dada)
Spune Productions (Talent Buyer – Dada)
Venue
Josh Florence
Local Music Advocate (City Tavern, Dada, Homegrown Festival)
Air Review
Group Act
Best Song “American’s Son” (video aired today on KXT)
Indie Act
Burning Hotels
Indie Act (more…)
