It always excites me when I can see how a space can be transformed into something completely different than it was before and that’s why I’m so happy to announce that on September 21st Dallas will be hosting its second annual PARK(ing) day.  PARK(ing) day is a worldwide event where the parking spaces of various cities are transformed into spaces such as pop-up museums, performance stages and reading lounges. The goal of this day is to promote creativity, civic engagement, critical thinking, unscripted social interactions, generosity and play. The Dallas PARK(ing) day will be taking place in the Main street district,Thanksgiving Commercial Center and Deep Ellum. Anyone can register to be a part of PARK(ing) day and receive space to transform so come out and see the creativity of Dallas citizens at work!
